Got new truck finally ( problems)

1. Smokes white on startup more than ksb. Suspecting water in fuel.
2. Woke up this morning to go to work and running lights were on. Check switch its off no time to investigate had to go out of town for work. unplugged battery.

Other than that love the truck. The smoke clears up after about 20 min. Not to bad while driving. At first like a mesquto fogger. Still has good power though. The lights idk what to think maybe the trolls crawled in while i was sleeping will have to check it out on sat. when i get home. Pics of truck when i get home also.

I believe white smoke is air getting into the fuel system. Does it hesitate or stumble? Are there leaks from your IP?

Pop in some LED's into your marker lights and leave them on....... Could be a headlight switch gone bad, or maybe the turn signal switch in the steering column/wheel.

How cold is it where you are at? My lights have been doing funny things to and I think its cold related, its been 10f for two weeks now. The white smoke could be different things, worn injectors, sucking air, or timing.

It could just be that it's cold. White smoke is vapor, which could be unburnt fuel from the engine being too cold, it could be W.I.F., it could be A.I.F., it could be cracked injector/s, it could be timing, it could be a head gasket. Take your pick...

Its been around 30f. Not to cold really. I like all the suggestions except head gasket. Really dont want to pull the head. Glad this is just my toy that i get to fix up and not my daily driver.
