I gave my truck a 20th birthday present, a new paint job.

the paint in the first pic looks pretty darn good compared to most 1st gens lol. nice looking ride you have

What's the box for ? Trying to improve your aerodynamics ?

That looks super, I want to do the same. Did you do much of the prep? Could I be nosy and ask what a job like that cost?

 

I spent about 5 grand on the body and paint, complete color change,
major dissassembly, new rockers, fenders, roof repair, rear wheel arches,
bed floor repairs, deleted cargo light, installed 1 pc rear glass, new tail lights.

Other deep maintenance I did, new heater core, AC compressor, condenser,
AC hoses, KDP, all new brakes, Lines, adjustable proportioning valve with
residual valves, braided brake hoses

 

That's a good looking truck! What color is that?

It was Toyota 1C5 Silver Metalic Graphite
I find this color blends alot with the road, doesn't stand out much against the road, kinda low viz
I have had a few people pull out in front of me like they didn't see me.
I wonder?
