The only additional benefit the HE351CW would provide on an 06 is from the variable geometry turbine. The HE351 on your truck already has a 60mm compressor.

If you had a controller it would be a hot ticket, but right now that doesn't exist commercially.

Just a thought guys.
Think of a waste gate control. Use boost to control the vanes. Low boost closes it down, high boost opens it up.
If you can balance a rate of change to keep it from opening too fast, you got it.
Just a thought.

Ok, so how do you convert the boost signal into something to control the motor that runs the vanes?

Fleece performances makes a standalone vgt controller. It is for the duramax turbos though. The duramax turbos flow quite a bit more than the holsets. Be prepared to pay though.

As you can see in the picture the motor is all ready off. All we would need to do is modify and adapt a waste gate controller to it. Simple

Quite a few people have done it with the holset using a wastegate actuator. Over on compd and also on import sites

Just get a Wastegate actuator and hook a maual boost controller to it. Hook the rod of the w/g actuator to the turbo vein control and good to go.
