All 3 are 12.7L Detriots. I could get the stacks, but then i couldnt use my camper. I also really like the looks of the intercoolers. There BIG! Not quite as big at the stock Dmax one, but still big. They have 4" in/out. I've been thinking of ways to cut and fit one in.

Also they have HUGE turbos. They have what looks like 3.5" outlets and 5" inlets. Maybe good for a budget twin kit?

Oh yea, I found a totaled 250 gasser with the same color interior that has power windows/door locks. I may have to get the panels and door guts from that.

Also found a perfect passanger door for $25.

This thing might just turn out OK.

I'm going to try and spend $1500 total on the truck with buying it and fixing it up, and see how it ends up. I'm painting it myself so that wont cost much.

PS- performance mods dont count.

Why do you got all the good junkyards? I looked for hours at five different yards, and out of a list of some 20 objects I only found a blinker lever (out of a Caravan) and a spare tire clamp.

Why do you want pics, there in Freeport. Just go up there and check them out.

Hey, what size turbo do you think they have? There clamp on compressors like the one i have. I just think there ALOT bigger.

What does the hx40 come on?

Those turbos are way bigger than a '40, that comes on the 8.3 liter Cummins. A turbo off one of the semis might make a core for the bottom turbo on a set of twins, but the turbine housings are typically too large.

8.3L C-Series Cummins- hx40. Medium duty 6 wheelers maybe some 10 wheelers. Probly some ag tractors as well. You'll want one with a 16cm wastegated turbine housing.

FTD, two really good MD, HD junkyards in Terre Haute, Russ Fisher and Illiana. Come over this fall for Scheid Diesel extravagansa in August and check out the j/y's.

8.3s come in 71xx, 72xx, and 89xx series tractors from Case IH. They also come in Freightliner FL70's (I think) and FL80's. Thats just a start though...

Oh, and while you're at it, I cant think of anyone that has tried dropping an 8.3 in one of our trucks, but theres always a first...

Plus the combines from the 1600 series on up at least the 2100 series. Not sure if they were used on the 2300, or a newer version of the Cummins in them.
