Good numbers from JD730!

He ran on the dyno today at Fall Brawl and pulled 351 HP / 770 TQ on #2 only. Excellent for a truck with POD's, a hybrid, a 3200 RPM spring, and a homemade fuel pin! I didn't do that well last year with a ground AFC - nice work!

He's currently leading the 1st gen class (pre '94 Dodges, pre '97 Fords, and pre '00 GM's). To get there he knocked off a '96 Ford that laid down 335 HP.

Thanks guys, almost 11:00, I just rolled in about a 1/2 hour ago after a slight detour to a birthday party.

Dave, I had another tire blow up on the way home, rear trailer axle passenger side. 2 for the day. I think its time for newer tires, this old garbage is no good, so signs of heat in any way, just one pop and thats it. Got the tire change down to 6 minutes now on the side of the road halfway in the weeds in the dark.

I'm still surprise the numbers where that high, I was expecting 290ish, real low 300's. I'm happy with it.

Yeah, we had alittle talk about the EGT's. According to the pyro it will get hot, but it won't make a mad dash for the other side of it. It will get up to 1300-1400 degrees if you keep the coal to it long enough. Boost is a comfortable 38-40 psi.

I'm going to drill the front 3 cylinders and put one of my other pryometers in there to get a second opinion.

Keep in mind the 12cm is the one Dave ported and drilled the divider on.

Yes, I had the piston pump last year.

My numbers were kinda disappointing this year, they are in my sig. I really think I need more timing. It still lays down over 2500 RPM, and fuel pressure was not an issue this time. Time to pull the front cover and jump a tooth...

Congrats to Mike on winning the 1st gen class at Fall Brawl. At least the '96 Ford didn't beat me.

Thats good to hear, Dave called me this morning and told me that I was still on top after he dynoed.

Dave, I'm going to scan one of my dyno sheets and post it so you can see where mine cuts off at. HP peaked at around 351@2600 rpm, then fell off to about 315@2900 rpm.

I had alot of fun, I hope everybody else that went did too.
