My 89 has a 3.54 geared 61 in the front. It uses a special D61 specific 3.54-4.10 carrier and standard D60 gears... 3.54's does not guarantee a 60.

 

My 91.0 has 4.10's it'll do 95 with the carpet out and still had pedal left. Let out of it though, didn't want to scatter it all over the highway I was told its a dana 70 but I could be wrong? You guys would know better that me on that one

 

crazy matt, ive heard there are now gearing options for the 61. what company sells the parts?
