Fuel Shutoff Solenoid

Hey everyone, I have always had to pop the hood on my truck and shut it off manually. I can't seem to find the fuel shutoff solenoid for our trucks so I'm wondering if any of you know where I can get one. Any and all leads to one are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just did a search on Ebay for: "VW Fuel Solenoid".

Found multiple listings from $17 on up. They're all the same and work just fine in our mess.

I buy the cheapest ones available.

I asked my brother about it and he said that there is supposed to be some small electronic part on it that those ones don't have. I have no clue what to look for so I'm still pretty lost. VW or VE? Was that a typo haha?

Our VE injection pump uses the exact same shut-off solenoid as the Volkswagen (VW) injection pump uses. No weird electronic parts attached.

Your brother must be confusing ours, with that on another engine.

The fss is on the end of the pump, closest to the cab. Just above where the injector lines meet the pump. Should have two wires connected to it using spade connectors.

You could install a pull cable to the manual shut down lever. I have one. just used a manual choke kit from the parts store.

The truck has one, it just has too many bends in it so it's near impossible to pull.

To the back and below the throttle linkage, the side of the pump.
