fuel screw question
fuel screw question
Ok, so I'm almost done rebuilding my injector pump and I have a question about my fuel screw . Prior to removing it I measured it using vernier calipers. Verified the measurement three times. When reinstalling it it feels like it's almost bottomed out to get the same measurement as o got before removal. could something be out of whack in the pump? I know my measurement is accurate and by far better than just marking the screw. Any idea? Thinking about backing it out a ways and then readjusting after I get it cranked. Wanted to keep my previous settings as I am fixing to make some other upgrades and dyno again to see my gains.
You may have inadvertently already been about bottomed out. I had to add about 1/4" to the end of my fuel screw before it would hang up in my 93.
I would do as David already agreed with, and go from there.
