Fuel pressure gauge

Want to put a fuel supply pressure gauge on the first gen. Looks like the best place to put the sending unit would be to replace the bleed banjo bolt on the fuel filter with one that has a 1/8" pipe thread hole instead.

Do I hack the one I have, or is there one available?

I could pull it and measure it if I weren't so lazy.

Pretty sure Geno's Garage has them.

Ordered the bolt and a coupla gaskets from Geno's.
Don't think I'll need the snubber with the stock lift pump.

I didn't use a snubber, but I did put a needle valve in the line about 1/2 turn open.

This one's electric. I probably has snubbing built into the sending unit.

You will want a snubber with the stock lift pump and electric pressure sensor. You can put a needle valve in as mentioned above.

I have a piston lift pump on mine and already burned one gauge for not using a snubber. Do what You think is best with Yours but good gauges are not cheap and the pulsations from a lift pump will eventually get the needle bouncing and kill the gauge.

put a needle valve in... DAP has them for like 11 bucks shipped. i have a snubber and it didnt help at all. the needle valve took all the pulsing out of the gauge, plus if i get a leak (mechanical gauge) i can shut off fuel right at the banjo bolt.
