Fuel press. gauge

It is hotter than Blue Blazes outside but I really wanted to get the fuel pressure gauge out of the engine compartment. The only place left on the dash was right over the middle vent next to the glove box, so that is where I put it. It don't look bad and it works, even at night. My lift pump puts out 7 pounds under normal driving conditions. To many cops on the road today to make any power. Why does this truck bring out the teenager in me?

It's the torque.

7 psi sounds like a healthy stock pump.

My wife came out to see what I was doing the other day and asked "what do you need those extra gauges for, this is starting to look like some kind of race car, you gonna race this thing?" I said "no, probably not. But I won't even be driving it to work tomorrow if I can't get this injection pump put back together..."

She seemed mildly displeased.

Don't worry, that will eventually change to major displeasure in the next couple years.

Got to play a little yesterday. Lp press. dropped to just over 3 pounds. I know the pump was replaced by a PO. I just don,t know when.
