If you're running the stock/OEM diaphragm type fuel lift-pump, there's a good chance the diaphragm has ruptured, pumping fuel into the crank-case. Time to replace it if not upgrade to a piston type lift-pump.

Check the lift pump and also the front seal on the ve pump. Pull the oil filler tube and have someone pump the fuel pump like you are priming it and you will see drips if its leaking. *thank wannadiesel for that tip*

All I can think of with the VE is the front seal, and that is usually fine if it's under 15psi or so of feed pressure. The stock lift pump definately can't supply that.

Still dumping diesel in the oil??

I've heard of them just giving up, not from to much pressure. Don't forget it is still a seal, they do go bad just for the sake of going bad not from abuse. Good luck with the pee pump if that is really what you are going to do, I think that a 2$ish seal is a bit cheaper than ?$ to do a pee pump, but that is just me.

I would love to just do the seal but pump shop around here wont do it unless you rebuild the whole pump for 1300 to 1500. P-pump is from a friend and a lot cheaper than that. Do you guys have a seal number and is it something that I could replace?

comes in the Bosch DGK-121 kit which gives you everything to completely reseal the pump

How would you replace that front seal without tearing it all the way down?

Since I'm doing a reseal on my VE pump, I'm wondering if I can bypass tearing the entire pump down, if I can cheat and just replace the front seal.
