I bought some fg filters from genos and im having a problem with the water in fuel light that two prongs on the water in fuel sender bottom out on the filter element in the bottom of the filter and I turned the sender out just a little and it went off and I had no leak. then later the light came on what should I do about the sender? the fg filter the metal plate on the bottom is flat and the napa one that i took off it has a dempled in plate on the bottom for the sender prongs.

 

try adding another gasket on the sender.
