fuel filter

I just changed out my fuel filter and on the plug on the bottom it looks like there used to be wires there. I also have an unconnected wire there that needs to be hooked up, if that plug is damaged can I get a new one from a parts store?

if its in the bottom of the filter its the water in fuel sensor , there still available http://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo....31852-S-WIF-DG or you could just use a differant filter if it leaks
