Fuel dilution

I am not sure if I am getting fuel dilution since I don't drive the 89 very often. I do know here recently that the VE pump is leaking externally when running. I have not started the truck in months, if by chance fuel was getting in the oil, would it separate out after sitting so long like water will do in oil? I was thinking of draining the oil into a clean pan and watch to see if it is actually getting diluted or I over filled it at some point.
Thank You!

Fuel would usually leak into the crankcase most when running, so it gets blended-in promptly.

Key entry points would be the front VE pump seal, and diaphragm lift pump.

You might be able to tell by the smell of the oil.
Otherwise "making" oil when it is running is the usual first sign of one of the pumps u2slow listed.

Having a lift pump that puts out to much pressure will force the front seal out of the VE and put about 7 gallons of fuel in your crankcase. Ask me how I know.

Send a sample of your oil off to Blackstone, they will check for diesel in the oil. I did it not too long ago and it was 35 bucks. Turns out I had just overfilled it by a little.
