So here is my next question where is the best place to get brushes and for those of you in AZ is there a place locally that may have them? I have talked to fixinrams (aka Gould) they have brushes but I want to know the best place to get them.

Thanks to all
These guys are great. They will re manufacture it very reasonably. I hesitate to say how much because it's been a while, but they have been in business for years and I have used them many times...Mark A is the correct address, the other is the previous location.

Gen star is where I got my rebuild kit from 67th and glendale or some where around there. Have cash in hand and get a better deal with them. Google the name it will come up. That other place that mark said is closer to you though either will work. I walked in with a 20 and got contacts, brushes and the bigger plunger and had change for a soda, middle of last year.

That's a lot better deal than any of the online distributors that I have checked BEFORE also adding shipping costs.

Well I picked up my new brushes from Turbo Auto Electric and they were $2.48 a piece. I got the starter back in the truck today and was suprised as to how fast it starts, unbelievable!!! It has never started that quick or that smooth.

Thanks to all that have helped and hope to have this starter running another 19 years
