Front Brake Part #'s

I have looked at several posts and scanned the stickies but have not found the agreed upon part numbers for the front brakes.

I know having read some posts that there is some confusion in terms of the proper numbers. I know there are two different weight axles but are there further differences?

I am looking for caliper, rotor, pads, and related bearings and seals needed for a proper job. I have noticed that some posts have suggested there are varying quality parts. Although money is always tight I prefer to go with quality.

Any help and clarity is always helpful.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know all the diesels have the 4500 pound axle. The gassers had the 3500 pound axle.

It amazes me the number of people who don't know that you can look up parts online at Napa, Kragen, and Autozone.

Go to www.napaonline.com ;
Click on select a vehicle (on the left side of screen)
Enter the year, make and model and click on submit
click on Brake Systems
click on Calipers
look up which you want (loaded, unloaded, axles, etc.)
press the back button
click on rotors, drums and related parts
look up which you want

Problem is that I have repeatedly been given the wrong parts that were listed by the computer.
