free p-pump should I take it??

well, my best bud has acquired his uncles 94 12valve because of an unsightly tree accident...
my buddy has a 98.5 with an auto and is swapping in the nv4500 from his new parts truck into his.
he says I can have the engine as long as I sell mine and give him the cash. not a bad deal. All i know is the truck has a banks kit injectors and has a super amzoil filteration system. i think somewhere between 180k-200k also the kdp has been killed. truck has been well taken care of.
Im happy with my ve not sure if i want to swapp engines or not?? but I have always thought my ve is a little gutless...
I pretty much can have anything else of the truck any suggestions??
im planning on taking the seat as well.

No I mean put the p-7100 injection pump on the 24 valve motor. It would rock and roll!

YES! Then drop the 24v back in to your frame. Dream setup. Who did that... was it RonA? Someone took a 2nd gen engine and dropped it in their 1st gen.

I have the same question, I guess. I just picked up a near complete (needs externals and an oil pan), reportedly less than 100,000 miles and got it for about $100 and a little horsetrading. My VE has a 14mm H+R and has been tweaked a bit plus some 5x0.0??? injectors. It runs well, but not like I think it would. My blow-by is pretty badand I'm thinking 350,000 is about enough for it.

So, again the question... do it?
