I have the reg old bench seat in my 91 ,and would like to have a 40/20 split or something like that,I think those were available in the 94 models.Can anyone tell me if they will fit in my 91 .

 

yes they will go in with some mounting modifacations

 

What type of mods are needed? Pretty simple stuff?

Do you have a reg. cab? Thats what my 93 is,it had bucket seats in it when I got it,and they wouldn't go back all the way,and it made for cramped driving. I found a good bench out of a 85,and now have plenty of room,might not sit as nice,but I don't have to drive with my knees up in the air.

 

Yeah I do have a reg cab,I have the factory bench seat now,but would love to have a 40/20/40 split with the fold down console in the middle.I found one for a good price I was just wondering how difficult it will be to install it.

 

i love the look of the bench "thats what i have" but id rather have a 40/20/40 as well.. the only big problem i have encounterd with the bench seats is no room anywhere but the glove box and behind the seat, and i guess dodge didnt think that we would have cups in our trucks so the just left out the cupholders...lol i still love my bench but if i find a great deal on some cherry seats....well ya know!
