IMO, you'd get more than ample fuel for most applications with a regulated Walbro 392 for a LOT less money. The left over money could take care of upgrading the fuel plumbing and then some.

^ What he said.

I have about $200 into my setup and thats not counting recuperating some costs from buying 2 pumps.

I bought a Walbro GSS392 and a 340 (in-tank pump for mustangs) for $80 off of Ebay. I also bought a pressure gauge for $15 shipped. Then I bought a Mallory 4307M regulator for $108 shipped. Now add in about $40 worth of fittings, wiring, and fuel line and VIOLA! That's the setup.

Also the Flowmax puts out 20psi, which would require a locktite/snap-ringed IP shaft seal or a regulator.

I could NOT find anything cheaper (new that is) then the Mallory that could regulate down to the desired pressure.

You mean you couldn't find a holly 3-9psi regulator?? they do regulate up pretty high, depending on flow of your pump.... should be able to open it up to 18psi...

how do you get it to 18psi, justramit? It said regulated 3-9psi, so I thought only 3-9psi gets through. The one I have is a 4-25psi. So when I rebuild my spare pump with 14mm H&R, snap ring and locktite the front seal, it will get 25psi.

its not on yet, but they guy at the local K&G speed shop told me to loosen the lock nut and back out the allen key some more and it will let more fuel through. Its made for carb. applications so its set between 3-9psi but you can get more out of them.
