Where do you guys buy your fleetguard filters at, i have tried all the parts stores around here and none carry that brand. Trying to do the FS1221 fuel filter swap.

Case IH filters are a little less costly, I don't know who supplies them, but the one here in McCook carries Fleetguard, so that's what I got.

Most parts store filters (mobil, fram, etc) only have 6 small holes in the base for oil flow, Baldwin, Case, and Fleetguard have 8 larger ones. That's on the engine oil filter.

Jimbo,

Ryder has the FS1221 for $12.47

Either way, I'm sure if you order a case they're being drop shipped anyway.

Difference would be your shipping cost, I guess.

The OP wanted the longer filter

Just wanted to point that out

BTW

Thanks for the Links. I don't buy much from them, but I'll keep them in mind for the next order

Ahhh, didn't see the end of his post wanting the FS1221. Just to be clear, I wasn't trying to start anything with anyone.

I buy from Geno's often and was just passing on some info. Geno's shipping cost, for anything, is $10 or $11 and is pretty quick. From Georgia to me takes only 4 days.

FWIW,

Ever since I put the longer FS1221 filter in, my truck not only runs better, but that low idle issue is much less noticeable. Can't explain why, but the 85 plus degree days are starting again, and the truck doesn't seem to have nearly as much bobbling going on in the heat.
