Fixed my flakey speedometer
My Speedo's been wigging out for a couple of months, stable reading under light or no load, but jumping from 20-90 under power. I've also have been speedo-less on several occasions. Makes it hard to track fuel milage....
I found that disconnecting and reconnecting the VSS would help for a little while, so I got some electrical contact cleaner, sprayed everything down and that helped for a day or so, so it was definately a connection issue. Disconnected the VSS again, used a pair of needlenose pliers and bent the VSS pins SLIGHTLY, and it's been good for over 800 miles now... WOOHOO.![CoffeeTime](https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/new1/coffeetime.gif)
One less little thing to worry about on a trip, NOW if I could just get teh tach to read accuartely....
