Fixed the listing barge/new cab mounts for the 92

My radiator was leaking bad at the seam and lower outlet and needed a new water pump and needed a new belt. I also cleaned the Intercooler out it had 24 years of leaves and dirt built up on it it was about 3/4 pluged. So at the sametime I did a new set of cab mounts the core support had the left mount missing on the right side it was about half of what it should be it leaned to the left bad. This job was a PIB as somewhere in its life the truck had been a 5 speed had 2 sets of carpets in the truck glued together to close up the hole they just took a sheet metal plate and screwed it down over the first carpet then glued the new carpet down. To do this job I had to gut the cab front seats jump seats seat belts and carpet. I used the poly cab mounts as that was all I could find. the good the cab does not hit the frame on the driver side any more and sits level now. the ride is no better or worse than the rubber mounts the bad is the dash now squeaks driving down the road. if I could find a NOS set of mounts I would change back to rubber. things I learned do the left side first it's not a big thing but the hole's on the left side are round and on the right they are oval for clearance I had to use a lineup bar on the left. I did the right side first. Ken

I don't think they have rubber ones though.

The LMC mounts are Poly. Runs better with the clean intercooler. And the right door shuts better but the dash is a real newcent now. Some of the mounts are broken so it rattles befor it only rattled when cold like at 40 and lower and soon as the heater started to work it got quite.Ken
