Hey guys,

I am looking at installing a rear bench in my truck, anyone do this? I am thinking about retro fitting seats out of a Dakota as they leave the most leg room. Just wondering what you guys did to attach the seat inside the cab.

There are a bunch of threads out there on it. I pulled a rear bench out of a late 70's Ford Super Cab. Not sure if I'm going to use it yet. Late 80's to mid 90's Chevy rear bench seems popular. Dakota seats seem like they would work. There is a thread out there where the owner built a rear seat for it. Looked pretty nice but dunno how durable it would be.

I haven't been able to find one in my searches that describes or shows how the seat is mounted. Do you have any pictures of your set up?

I remember a few years back there was a company from up North that produced a drop in bench seat for club cabs. Not sure if they are still in business.
