Firewall Cracks
Ok, my park brake has cracked the firewall and the park brake mounting bracket is also cracked and bent. I was thinking about making a template and getting some plate steel cut to reinforce the firewall.
Anyone else had this issue?

Yes I found that the prior owner left one of the Ebrake bolts loose and it put all the force on the firewall. I just made a patch pannel that bolted where the Ebrake mounts on the fire wall and used the two studs and welded around the patch to reenforce it some more. Jethrro

Yep i had to deal with this one. I used a piece of channel iron and drilled the holes and cut a corner out to give clearance for something... can't recall what it was without looking. Pretty easy fix. I'll get a pic tomorrow after class (around noonish)

Got one in my gallery pending approval. Took about 10 minutes to make it. Luckily I had some steel sitting around. Hit it with some white spray paint and you won't even notice its there!
