a 7.3 cooler is the way to go--I love mine. 6.0s have plastic tanks and commonly pop above 30-40.

What is bigger? a 2nd gen cooler or a PS cooler?
Sorry Randy, I got swamped yesterday. The I/C on my '98.5 measures 46" wide, (at the widest point), 15.5" tall and 2.25" deep. I just checked my '93 and the height should be fine but not sure about the width. My '93 intercooler is only 36" across but there is room for more!
Hope this helps.

The difference in total area is negligible. The biggest thing is a PS cooler is easier to fit in an IC truck. Also some 7.3L's have plastic tanks.

So how does anyone have the dimensions of a stroke joke intercooler? I would rather have one that cools/flows better than have one that is easy to install. Thanks.

I tow HEAVY, as in big gooseneck cattle-trailer heavy, and it is very easy for me to bury the pyro needle without even trying.
my probe is in the exhaust manifold on the 4,5,and 6 cyl side of the split where it gets the least amount of air. those cylinders i mean
