FinallY Got My Intercooler In!

Just finished plumbing my intercooler in tonight and took the truck out for some wot runs. The intercooler I installed was a banks for a non-ic truck, very nice unit. Egts went from 1200 down to 1000 runnin wot up to about 85 Mph runnin about 27psi boost. I'm very pleased with the results. I think its time to turn up the pump some more Now time to figure out how to piece the grille back in

You gunna haul anything with that beast? I'd hook something up to it and try towing up a long steep grade on a mid summer's day before turning that bad boy up.

disregard if this is a toy/play truck...

Thanks for the pics. Does the Banks intercooler come with brackets to help reinforce the hood latch area?

It appears that you left the original A/C condensor in place. How far out does everything come from the rad support with the IC installed?

I saw a 200 degree drop in egts. Didn't feel a huge increase in power but now i've got some room to giver her some more fuel.

KEWL! (pun intended).

I would think there'd be a small increase in torque somewhere in there just because of the increase in charge-air density.

I'm sure there's some gain there. I think she's ready for some more fuel.
