Couldn't resist this one. 1991 W250 auto 4x4 flatbed. I have a thing for flatbeds. Of course it has the inline 6 option. 140,000 miles, documented. It's had a rough life in Texas, had a wreck in 99 at 119,000 miles that left it with salvage title. Sold to new owner and he moved it to Colorado and title went to restored/salvaged. When I saw this one, first idea was to buy it for salvage so I could swap the auto in it into my 92 W250 which has a 5 speed. I'm tired of shifting and need another Dodge that my wife can drive which has to be an automatic. The 91 ended up being too nice to just use for parts, so I'll be selling my 92 later on. My wife's Dodge is the 94 on 37's.

 

All of the factory seals are in place on the IP, never been molested! It has good response with what ever exhaust housing is on it. Haven't looked but suspect it's all factory.
I can hear the turbo whine from about 35 mph and up, Don't have that problem on my 92. Hard to believe that a farmer would remove the silencer ring. I have a spare HX35/12cm2 that will probably find it's way onto this engine.
Like all most farmer maintainance I suspect that the front axle has had it's share of neglect, if it's working dont mess with it, drive it till it breaks. But thats what you get when you buy an old work truck, lots of little surprises to look forward to.
