Factory tach

What size is the original factory tach? Is it cup mounted? I'm going to get a tach and I'd like to set it up to look like the factory tach. I don't like the tachs mounted on the steering column or in a pod. Does anyone make a factory size tach that will plug into the harness on the 93's? If anyone has a good pic of their factory tach I'd love to see it. Thanks.

Here ya go, Rick. This is the one on my 92.
I haven't removed it so I don't know the size. or even if it's the same as on the 93 models.
The needle's faded, but will be painted soon. Already did the other gauges.

Thanks for the great pics. It looks like a 3" or 3 1/2" tach. Hard to tell. Anyone know the size and if there's any other tach than the 2 1/16" Isspro that will hook up to the factory wiring harness?

As far as I know, only Isspro makes a tach that will plug up to the factory harness.

If you knew what wires are what on the factory harness and the tach, couldn't you just make up a harness from any tach to plug into the harness?

Our trucks require a 5 volt signal for the tach, and most tachs will not read that low.
