Exhaust manifold gasket
The exhaust manifold gaskets are leaking on my '90. tried quickly this morning to change them but couldn't budge the bolts. Any tips on breaking them loose without busting them off in the head?

I hate to give you bad news, but if they're leaking and not loose - your manifold prolly shrunk/warped. This is a common problem with stock manifolds. Ive seen folks sawzall em off. Other times ive seem em come off and be up to 1/8" off when trying to put em back on and they end up getting replaced.

I had the same problem.
It WAS just the gaskets. Manifold was fine.
All my bolts but the top of #1 came right out. Lucky for me it was the easiest one to drill out.
Make sure you tap all the holes out and hit them with lots of air before putting new bolts in. Go to a bolt supply house. DON'T go to the dealer for new bolts. $$$$$$$$$
Drop your turbo and drain all the coolant to get the heater lines out of the way first. You'll thank me later.
Disconnect down pipe as well.
Good luck.
