Everyone wants my truck.

In the past week I have had three different people ask me if I wanted to sell my truck. Once at the gas station, Once a work, a guy tracked me down insie after he saw me pull in one day. And then last night going into one of my local watering holes. I was going through the parking lot to find a spot, and this guy kept looking at me/the truck, I get to the door to go in and he stops me wanting to buy it, said he had 2 first gens already and wants another! Its flattering really...

I have had mine for week so far. It seems like everyone whos into the CTDs loves them. Everytime I see someone who has one I always tell them they have a nice ride. Only one person asked me if I wanted to sell it so far.

As crappy as mine looks (see my gallery) I got an offer for it last year for $1000 more than I paid for it!

Only compliment I get on mine is that "I guess you don't have to worry about leaving that thing overnight at the boat ramp".

i get a thumbs up, or awsome truck all the time. some people just say wow, thats clean. i just smile and say thanks. i have had offers as much as $12k now for my truck. its amazing. i almost did it. but i would have to spend a lot to find a good one to replace it, and then get it were i wanted it. so i will keep it, forever.

Talking I Must Look Like I LOVE My Truck....

because I've never been asked to sell. Hey, these trucks are worth fixing up!! Try and find one of these in a wrecking yard...there aren't any. And if there are, they're scooped right up and rebuilt OR pieced out like we've all seen on Ebay (I think that Redlinear does pretty good on his Dodge diesel auctions. He knicked me for the door handles and I was pleased as punch to get em!! THANKS! ). My buddy just got a 92 4x4, 5 speed and it was wrecked. Not from a motor vehicle crash type accident. A small tree fell on it so he had to replace the fender, hood and grill and a few small odds and ends involved with that. But he got it for $4000 and it's got the Banks kit on it too. NICE, nice truck!! You can tell the prior owner liked it too as it shows. He's almost got it back together, ready for paint. He figures add another $2500 on that 4k price after paint so that's what he's in it for. But I'd bet when that truck's finished it's gotta be worth almost twice that, doesn't it?? I mean, try and go and replace that truck and see what you get. I just think they're BARGAINS comparatively speaking. And apparently so do many others judging from how many are setting in junk yards... Chuck

The guys at the salvage yard said they'd pay $500 for my truck.

I parked it out front to look for a gas tank and they thought I was selling it to them.

I've had several people try to buy mine, don't feel like I overpaid though. $4K for the 93 and traded a 97 f150 for the 91...almost felt bad for that poor feller
P.S. 93 moves on own power again still needs turbo, but not too shabby
