Yep, this is true. And now that the thumbs down has been given to my 'creative' thought process, I'm thinking more and more about twins. I WAS just after an extra little bit of power. I wasn't planning on building a sled puller, or even challenging Jason Sands or Bill Gilbert, (or Josh Ayers or Tim Worline etc etc) for outright HP bragging rights.
I'm just trying to build a truck that I can use for towing that's reliable, without breaking the bank. But my ideas might have broken my engine and I'd much rather have a broken piggy bank!! So twins with water or water/meth I guess it'll be. Unless I come up with some other hairbrained scheme!
Thanks for your input everyone!

Search loch's posts to see what happens when you add nitromethane to water/meth.

how much percentage? Like RC car 10% blend, or top fuel dragster 90% blend

My dad and I became friends with top fuel dragster driver Wayne Bailey and his crew when they were up in New England dragway a few times. A few weeks before his died in an accident (sadly, against his brother!) he gave us a pint or 2 of 90% Nitromethane mixture. He told us not to tell where we got it, and that you need a license to obtain it above a 30% mixture or something. He said the Oklahoma bombing was using Nitromethane that he claimed was for racing. So now you need licenses. I however have not looked into it, Wayne just told us this.

This sounds so cool. With the extreme long burn time of Nitro, I bet you'd have a flame from the stack!
