Engine adaptor plate torque spec?

Anyone got a factory service manual can tell me what the torque spec is for the engine adaptor plate w/getrag transmission? It bolts to the rear of the engine, the starter bolts to it. My Cummins manuals only give flywheel to crank, clutch, bell, and transmission torque specs. Thanks.

Dodge calls it a clutch housing, but I can't find a spec, either. How about "good 'n tight"?

Thats my favorite torque spec.
This should give you an idea so you don't over torque it.

My 92 FSM shows these for the Diesel engine:

Trans mount Mounting to Trans (Manual) 50 ft/lbs
Trans mount Through Bolt Mounting (Manual) 50 ft/lbs
Transmission mounting to engine 30 ft/lbs
Transmission to Clutch Housing Mounting 35 ft/lbs

Flywheel Housing - Adaptor 44 ft/lbs
Flywheel Bolts 101 ft/lbs

You'll have to sort out the terminology - I've got an auto. I've left the obvious automatic specs out of this listing.

Regards, DBF

I think Bill is looking for flywheel housing adapter. In the fsm for my 90 it also says 44 ft-lb.

That'd be the one! I wonder why I couldn't find it in my '93 FSM?

Thanks, that's it! I went home after posting this, and found it in my 89 Diesel supplement manual. I guess I just wasn't looking in the correct place. Now time for flywheel resurface, then new Sach's $$ clutch. This is for the crew cab's 90 6BT by the way.
