Engine adapter plate for NV4500 swap

Hey guys,

Every time I look for a 2nd gen engine adapter, someone wants as much as I paid for the tranny itself. Will a 3rd gen 5.9L engine adapter work? Thanks,

-Luke

I got one for $60 from a friend of mine. Keep checking ebay and local trucks getting parted out. I saw one on ebay a while back for $125. Not sure on the 3rd gen plate...

advanced adaptors makes a plate to run the all the 1st gen stuff with an nv4500. so no swapping engine plate or starter.

hey-Hey!!!,
From a past note from Mark Nixon even the later 2003+ plates had some holes moved on the engine interface for some reason. No independant confirmation at all but I have not seen Mark mistaken on stuff like this very often.

I'd put a 'Wanted' ad up in the classifieds( on this and perhaps others ).
cheers,
Douglas
