Electrical issues.

I got alot to learn when it comes to electrical problems, so I would like some advice on where to begin. A couple days ago I noticed my left turn signal would only flash with the running/headlights turned off. If I pull my light **** out any and turn the left turn signal on the tail light stays the same and the flash indicator on the dash stays on. The right turn signal works fine. Also, when I press the brake pedal down the cab, marker, and dash lights come on. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

i would go out to the offending light socket and check for ground. when a light changes its function after another light is switched the turn light is backfeeding back up the wire loom looking for a ground.
