Re:EGT's

Just got back from Piers and had the pleasure of meeting Bushy, Mark and much of the crew. They are all a class act.

The POD's are in and the pyro probe is moved to PRE turbo. I can't compare the temp difference with the move because the POD's abviously would have an effect. The one thing I did notice was that the temp goes down faster PRE turbo.

Now I've gotta save money to upgrade the tranny. It's is all the fault of this site. ;D

Haha, while you may throw fault at this site, Im sure its more of a complement because think of how much more fun you are having with that newly "waken up" truck!

I spent some time (and $$$) on the phone with Mark today. It is really a pleasure to speak with these guys. They are helpful and friendly ... all while taking my money! ;D Then again, everyone on this site I have dealt with, whether in person or through online correspondence has been the same way. It must say something about 1st gen owners other than our trucks are getting old! :P

It seems that today, they had a HX35 that had my name on . I can't wait to get that one on! Should be here during my week off for elk season!!

Re:EGT's

RedWhiteDiesel, I didn't mean to offend anyone with my "blaming" this site for my getting stuck on BOMBing my toy. It really was meant as a compliment. Without this site I wouldn't have met the great people at Piers, had the opportunity to meet and BS with Bushy or been able to get all the great information that's available here. To anyone who may have been offended by my remark I offer my sincere apologies.

No no, I wasnt trying to say that at all, just a misunderstanding....I was just tryin to make a funny remark....And I think that anyone here would love to accept the blame for someone's truck, like ours, providing as much fun as we have with em!

Gotcha, Brian. And it would tickle the heck outta me if I could get someone as hooked as I am. You're right - - It's a lot of fun - - - To be in my 2nd childhood.

Re:EGT's

Hey, Olehiipie101, didn't ya say your pyro probe is POST turbo? If you can swing it I'd really suggest you have it moved to PRE turbo. I was amazed that the temps went up so darned fast. It really got my attention.

Have a great, and safe, trip.
