EGT Probe mounting

i have had my egt probe mounted post turbo 4 inches down my downpipe for the last 3 years. i started doing mods to my truck b4 i even knew about these forums and i didnt know any better at the time. The highest egt i have ever seen is 1100* post turbo. I was just wondering if some people who have dual pyros could chime in and tell me the difference between the two readings. what are the advantages of dual pyrometers?

Its about a 250 to 300 degree difference. I dont have two pyros but when I got my truck it was post and I changed it to pre.

I had about 350* difference. I had the pre turbo pyro in the rear part of the manifold. Because the rear cylinders are the hotter I figured it to be better to monitor that side.
