The VE pump really does not fuel well above 3k, so getting big HP numbers out of it is hard. It's much easier to get big numbers if you can fuel hard to 4k...

so from my sig do you think my numbers would be close? I'm sure my pump is tuned more since he said the truck is set up to tow, but he has better injectors

jake, pods flow plenty of fuel, you should dyno more,depends on dyno i guess. i see alot of guys put down more than me with simular or less mods. my 364 hp # was with pump close to max. 331 was turned down a little.

what clutch are you running and what is it rated for? my valair rated to 700ft lbs won't hold mire than half throttle in 3rd gear and up empty

clutch is rated at 400/800,part ceramic/organic. 3800lb pressure plate. it will slip if im not careful. dont know what i,ll try next

SB dual disk if you tow dont help hot rodding around though

how will the DD effect the 1/4 mile and daily street ricer abuse? thats what the truck will be used for no matter what, pulling is just a more than i can afford idea right now

DD dont work for drag racing very well, unless you can start in 3rd gear, same with light to light style racing.

with a DD i think so, if the input shaft would hold

i think south bend will modify their DD clutchs to beable to shift faster, but you would have to ask peter @ southbend

i prolly should just get a good single disk and stay away from pulling, im sure i would break drive shafts, axles, ect.
