I am in SW Michigan. But I would be no help as I am new to the diesel thing. I do know of a Cummins mechanic in GR that had tweaked on mine before I bought it. I need to get some more out of mine too.

sandring go to the search box and enter KDP there is all the info you will need to understand. the pod injectors are very good BUT you might want to investigate all the different typs of injectors. pod's tend to run a little hot if you are doing alot of heavy pulling. i love mine but i keep a close eye on my piro gauge. let me know.

I drove for Standard lumber co. Did everything from local job deliveries to cabnets, doors, windows. Drove a truss truck a little then hauled materials to the branch yards. We had a yard in Freemont. I didn't start diving tanker until we moved to Oregon.

Claude, I live by Bristol, work in Rockford. You missed the get together we had in Mt. Pleasant a little while ago, just dinner, no tinkering. I see you're a wood carver. Me and Chaikwa tend to make a lot of sawdust of sorts. I do a lot of fly fishing, tying, and some bird hunting.

Chaikwa, you're about due to come up and drain some of these sippy holes aren't you?

Yea i do quite a bit of wood carving when i`m not playing with my truck or cars. I`ve of corse got my truck, and a Escort GT,my wife has a escort wagon,my daughter has a kia, my aon has a Mustang, and he and i are in partners on a Mozda 626 GT coupe , we bought that one to sell. So i carve when its not nice enough wo work outside on the veicles.
Some one told me i have two many toys.
HUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dont think that is possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recommend you install the guages you need right at the start so you can observe the power increases the other modifications perform.

Boost and EGT at a minimum, Transmission Temp if you have an auto trans.

Redleg,
Guna make you jelous! I live 200 or 300 feet from Middle Branch river, designated blue ribbon trout stream.
Would include pict of some of the trout my son caught last summer but cant figure out how. He had some in the 20+ range.
We have a really reasonable camping sight in town here right on the river,my cousin came over from Oscoda and camped last summer and had some sucess fly fishing.

Maybe I can one-up ya.... Coe creek runs through my front yard, but not really fly fishable. Good for a lunker now and then. The Pine River runs through state land across the county road. But, if your fish population requires thinning, I'm sure I can oblige. I've fished the clam and hersey a little, but don't think I've tried the middle branch. Actually, I don't keep a lot, just a couple now and then.

I've got room for trucks, but no pole barn or garage or anything yet to support any heavy tinkering on the trucks. Hopeing to get a building started this summer though.

Talking

Yea just built this house 2 1/2 yrs ago and hoping to find a pot of gold so i can build pole building, my boy and i have taken up new hobby buying and selling old cars and it would be nice not to lay in the sand when working on them.
I`ve got a place all picked out to build it, however there is still a pile of stumps there from building. Cupple weeks ago i picked up a 1 ton winch that goes on reciver, thats going to help move stumps to burn pile. I just keep working on burning them so i can put that building up , have it all designed in my head, will have a add on on one side that can be used as a paint booth/garage , the rest will be for working on veicles, dont know if in the future we might think of getting dealers license. Depends on how serious my boy is about it , he is working at the mill now and going to high school , he is going to have to work some where if he likes it might as well work for him self.
In todays economy you got to make sure your kids get a good start!
I use to fly fish , been wanting to get back in to it!
We`ll have to give it a try this summer>
