Michigan DTR #3 and DHRA event

On July 17, the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park is going to host a DHRA Division III event. I went last year with a few guys from GLTDR and had a great time. There's a campground about 3 miles from the track. If any of you would like to camp that weekend and go to the races (you can even run your truck for $50.00 if the price is the same as last year) reply here. After I get some idea of numbers, I'll contact the campground about a block of campsites.

The track is located near Martin, Michigan, about half way between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.

Too far out for me to commit, but tempting.

John, which city are you in?

Don, just wanted to get an idea of interest. I'm sure that I'll be bringing up the thread in June to get a more accurate picture of who's able and who's not.

Just wondering, I live in Stanwood and work in Rockford. I'll probably continue getting my haircuts in Howard city now, since the guy in Cedar Springs left the business.

I didn't run into you in Big Rapids did I?

I have some interest, but not sure if I could make it. I am going to try to make it to Muncie in June and then I do not know what I will make it to after that.

If anybody is gonna be out and about over the holiday, swing by the cabin. We'll be grilling, etc. PM me if anybody would like directions.

OK, guys, here's the campground information.

Schnable Lake Campground. (269) 672-7367. Leave a message and they will get back to you. Identify yourself with DTR, and they will put us all in the same area. I will be going down on Friday afternoon with my wife and daughter..... my daughter loves my truck and wants a Cummins of her own when she graduates from college! Hope to see you there.
