Dropping the oil pan?

Has any one dropped the oil pan while the engine is in the truck. Swank did it, but he had his tranny out? Pointers would be great!

I pulled my motor when I did my pan. I didn't think it looked possible or at least easier to replace the pan with the motor in. So I yanked the motor.

Mike I can show you firsthand how to pull it. I have 2 to pull here real soon.
It is easier to do with the motor out. Then you can attack any gasket or seal you want to fix.
Leaning towards the p-pump motor for the RamCharger too.

I agree with Fred however I've pulled mine out (4X4) it's difficult but can be done. I don't think that it could be done on a 2 wheel drive though.......
