drive pressure
Yes.
In what manner, however, depends greatly on the rpms and engine load. I've been fiddling with this stupid vgt on my 12v and have been chasing the elusive 1:1 boost-to-drive ratio....just recently, it's become clear that 20psi drive with 10psi boost is a good thing for egts while getting underway, or trying to spool from lower rpms...meaning that if I open the vgt so that I'm at 1:1 as opposed to 2:1 in the same situation, egts are higher. Once up on boost (30-40psi) having the vgt get closer to 1:1 is better for egt's....clear as mud?
