Dripless Grease Gun?
I think this is a legitimate First Gen question as the later model Dodges are largely devoid of alemite fittings.
Every time I pick up my hand-held grease gun, I have to deal with melted grease dripping out the back end. At first I thought it was the Kendall SuperBlu I was using, but Mobile 1 Synthetic grease drips just as badly. (And red drips are no better than blue ones.)
Can anyone recommend a hand-held grease gun that will not leak? Or perhaps a brand of grease sufficiently thick (even in hot weather) that this isn't a problem? I know I could resort to storing the grease gun in the refrigerator , but there must be a better solution.
TIA.

Actually if you look into the history of grease plugs, you'll find that zerks were replaced by alemites. Or it could be the other way. Anyhow, they are different.

I have the same with the regular one leaking, but the waterproof gun for the boat trailers, dosent do that, my driveshaft builder sells 20. per tube synthetic stuff he swears wont drip, at that price let her flow!

It won't drip from either end if you pull the plunger back and lock it between uses.
Another trick I've used is to put a tie wrap around the handle (small cartridge squeeze to operate) so it only returns about half way. I get a half squirt per squeeze, but it doesn't drip as much between uses and mess up the saw chain box. Don't have a zerk on the chain bar, I use a needle.
