Question Drilling holes in my truck???HELP

ok so im not the brightest bulb but here goes
just got the new turbo housing (12 or 14cm w/g) and a phantom II boost and pyro and i want you opinions before i take a drill to my baby
so i seen in the sticky that some people drill a hole for the front three cylinders to waste Should I do that before i install it ,
also on the pyro probe do i run the truck while drilling or take and drill with the trubo off and running(is that possible)PLEASE HELP ME HERE
and on the wastegate and boost where and how should these be hooked up EXACTLY (i do have some sence that the w/g should go on the intake )
but i do want all the gauges hooked up for baseline numbers first

take the turbo off. then shove a shop rag into the ports *** far as you can. drill, then pull the rags out. you may need to use needle nose pliers or a hooked pick to at it. then vacum out the port just to be sure.

You can either drill the divider or grind a bunch of it out, whatever suits your taste/tools. If the truck isn't turned up much it's not really necessary though.

Here's a pic of where the boost gauge hooks up - there's a pipe plug in there from the factory. Put a tee in there and run the wastegate hose off it too. I use a 5 foot section of brake line to run under the engine and fuel injection hose at the ends.

As for the pyro probe, you can drill the manifold with the turbo off, stuff rags in the manifold or drill with the turbo on the manifold. I drilled mine with the turbo on. I let the truck idle while drilling and the exhaust blew the chips out. Worked very well. Good luck.

You're changing Exhaust housings... Drill the manifold for the EGT gauge while its off.. use a vaccum to suck out the fillings... If I had the exhaust housing off.. I'd drill it too.. it will give you better control of boost pressures... (and drive pressures..)
Good Luck..
