Needs to be cleaned and lubed. Look in the sticky for directions.

i cleaned mine not too long ago also. I took the whole thing out and let it sit in diesel for a day. The diesel and a little bit of scrubbing got it working like new again.

Pull the latch out and soak it in a can of diesel. Use a stiff brush to get in all the little nooks and crannies real good then hose off with some brakekleen. Relube with some spray silicone and reinstall. Might want to take a look at the condition of the plastic clips that hold the rods in place. If they are worn replace them to take up some of the slop if there is any.

Another thing to check is your door hinges. If too much door weight sits on the latch, it will bind up the lock.

If it's the key cylinder get tube of dry graphite from home depot and apply in lock and work it in. No oil in locks, will attract dirt and make worse.

Going to have to disagree with this one. Tri-flow is locksmith approved.

Never used it but did oil ignition once and got worse immediately so oils scare me. On home door locks when causing problems a shot of graphite makes them work slick for quite a while. Whatever works.
