Don't shoot me, Please
I know I SHOULD be able to do this by myself, But...
Can anyone tell me how to change the headlights in these trucks?
It does not look like there is enough clearance if you dont take of the grill.
I need to know 'cuase I got a ticket and need to get it changed and show the cops by 4:30 today in order to get rid of the ticket. and I'm at work, so I can't fool around with it.
Thank you in advance,
Michael
P.S. dont yell at me too bad.

There is a trim piece around the headlight that is held in place by two screws - Chrysler calls it the "headlight door" - it looks like it might be part of the grille but it isn't.
Once the trim is off, you can get to the four screws that old the stainless steel "ring" around the headlight, and it will come right out. No need to mess with the adjusters at all.

This is how I change a headlight, Frist you remove the 4 torx screws out of the plastic headlight cover, then you can get at the 4 screws holding the crome cage that holds the light in. You may have to drill the heads off the screws holding the cage on, they can be rusted in, once the light is out you can get a hold of what is left of the screw from the back side, unplug the light, then install in reverse order, using new screws and a never seize so you can get them out again at a later date.

Yeah, Something actually work the first try
All went smooth except I dropped one of the screws that hold the plastic trim ring into the snow. But I can replace that.
And the best part is that they both work!
Its a first,
Thank you all again,
Michael

I just replaced one of mine. If you look at the grill around the headlight, it should have an insert that is held in by two screws, one to the left and one to the right of the headlight. THey hold this insert to the grill itself.
Undo those, and you'll see the headlight is held in by a metal frame screwed in 4 places to the mounting bucket/adjuster plates. Take those 4 out, and there you have it!
