is there a reason the common west coast mirrors cant be used? If I was to add them I would go with the new heated and lighted mirrors with the nice led lights and built in convex mirror on the bottom.

Well my reason is that while the full size west coast mirrors provide great rear view coverage, they block quite a bit of your peripheral view, especially approaching intersections.

[QUOTE=KRB;3197209]Are you talking about the towing mirrors that have 4 legs to the door below the window or true West Coast type mirrors that attach above the window as well?

they were 3 legged and on dang near every early ramcharger and were polished stainless- if your looking. mine came off an 83 Royal se.

I've seen 3 & 4 legged ones.

There's a truck on here (I think) with the lighted, heated mirrors you're talking about taterfarm that really looks good but can't remember who it is...

I have true west coast mirrors. 7x16 SS. Not lighted or heated but soon. Winters coming. May even get the motorized ones. All depends on the funds I have. But anyway I love them and how they look. Only bad part is the looking both way at intersection.

This is on a 75' Power Wagon Cab and Chassis I'm parting out. I can get more photos and measurements if anyone needs them.
