I would like to upgrade my 6x9in mirrors, to minimize blind spots, especially on the driver side, and ideally to see the rear tires. A partial solution would be a wide angle for the driver's side, but I haven't been able to find any replacement glass so far. What looks most attractive are some 'Euro style' mirrors, black plastic, about 6x14in, semi-wide angle, that mount on 5/8in to 3/4in tubing. With a loop arm mount they'd look like some West Coast jr mirrors that I've seen. Anyone installed such a thing, or have a better suggestion ? I'm not interested in combination flat and 'spot' wide angle mirrors, like the Dodge towing mirrors.
