dodge body style

Hey,I was wondering how long did dodge make this body style? The reason I am asking is bacause I need a new tailgate and was hoping to find a earlier one from a 1ton cause I wand the 1ton running lights.

I think the cummins was from 87 to 93 body style differ alittle year to year as far as grills and such the doors, fenders, hoods and tail gates suould be the same as far as I know. Someone else will chime in with more spicifics on body parts.

I do beleve that the bodys were basicly the same form 73 to 93.
I now that bodys can be swoped frame to frame.........I thing that 2wheel and 4 wheel are diff but for a tail gate? pright much shore that all will fit!

just a quick scan through the interweb show that the body style changed in '72, so 72-93 should work

I'm running a 79 hood, with a custom stainless latch bar to work with the 81-93 latch.

What year box do you have? The latch style changed around '88 - not interchangable. Other than the lights whats the diferance between a regular and 1 ton tail gate?

It's alot cheaper just to add the 5 lights and alot less work.

No. Pre-fabricate a harness and fish it through with a coat hanger
