Do I Need A New Clutch Pedal?

Hey guys, I finally scrounged up all the drivetrain parts I need to do my conversion and am getting ready to start on it pretty soon. My question is I am putting my cummins with a NV4500 in a 88' gas rig that has a 4 speed in it. Can I use the clutch pedal that is in the truck to operate the 4500, or do I need to get a different pedal assembly?

I think it might depend on whether or not the NV4500 has a clutch release arm on the outside of the bellhousing or if it uses one of those direct-line-to-the-throwout-bearing hydraulic systems (I have no idea). The 4-speed pedal on my '85 had solid linkages to the clutch release.
