I have several hundred thousand miles on several Dana 60 and 70 equipped trucks, all limited-slip, and have used plain old 85W-140 gear-lube of various brands in them with never a failure.

I did have a clutch grabbing issue, a few months ago; but, two tubes of that limited-slip additive stuff cured that problem.

I like the Royal Purple because it already has the limited slip add in it. 75w-90 is better unless you tow alot.

If it's a tow rig, go synthetic in the rear. No need for it out front. If the truck is just a play toy I'd go for a lighter lube like an 80W-90. The axles never get hot enough to need the thick lube unless you are working it.

Regular old 80w90 here for 370,000 miles without any problems.
